THE GOD, WIRACOCHA – OR THE “GOD OF ABUNDANCE” – “QOLQAS”IN THE HILL “APU” OF PINKUYLLUNA

To ascend the Qolqas of Ollantaytambo (Inkan agricultural storehouses) takes approximately between 30-to-40 minutes at a slow pace and isn’t complicated to make; we recommend having comfortable shoes and to take water with you. A visit to this place can take approximately two hours in order to fully grasp its mysterious beauty; from there, one can enjoy an incomparable view of the rest of the archaeological sites and also of the Inka city of Ollantaytambo.

Visiting hours are from 7:00 AM to 16:30 PM – and, for the moment, entrance is free.
