This pyramid is the graphic representation showing us how the society was structured during the development of the Inca Empire, it has a large extension and large terraces still cultivated by the local people. To achieve a complete observation of the pyramid it is advisable to climb the Qachiccata mountain situated near this site and from the top you will be dazzled with the pyramidal representation with its landscapes
On 21 June every year, we celebrate the "Andean New Year" with the winter solstice. When a ray of sunlight illuminates the "door or window" of the pyramid, we perform an ancestral ceremony dedicated to the Tayta Inti "Sun God". This is not only the beginning of a new agricultural year but also the rebirth of our energies.
