Visit the Qolcas of Ollantaytambo (the Inca farming warehouse) is undoubtedly one of the best attractions. They were storage and conservation spaces of many varieties of food, they were built at a considerable height, some of them have hyperventilated rectangular shapes with their large windows and others have a closed structure. These temporary warehouses were clearly strategic to have their food all year round.
The Qolqas were built on the mystical hill of Pinkuylluna where you will enjoy an incomparable view of the archaeological park and the village of Ollantaytambo.
The ascent to this place will take 40 minutes walking slowly, it is recommended to use comfortable shoes and to bring water.
Visiting hours: from 07:00 am to 04:00 pm. Free admission.
