TREKKING (SALKANTAY) 5D-4N

The Inka walk of Salkantay is named such due to principal mountain of Salkantay which – in Quechua – means Montaña Salvaje (Wild Mountain in English); the mountain has an altitude of 6,271 meters above sea level. This walk offers adventure in a complete expedition and contains natural attractions with fantastic landscapes within lagoons, mountains, rivers, the snowy mountains of Humantay and Salkantay, trails, thermal baths, and an ancestral Quechua route where a progression of the various ecological floors and terraces can be appreciated. Likewise, visitors can bask in what is the edge of the jungle where abundant tropical vegetation exists; visitors can also observe the different kinds of orchids, birds, and parrots found within. This trekking alternative also leads to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu and passes one day before through Aguas Calientes.
