04:00 AM – We will personally pick you up from your hotel/hostel in the center of the city of Cusco in order to take touristic transportation towards the South of the city via a route that leads to Puno, until arriving to the district of Checacupe where we will then take a highway detour towards the starting point of our adventure. Before starting our trekking experience, we will have breakfast – then, we will initiate a walk of approximately 3-hours up what is called Rainbow Mountain that allows a spectacular view of colorful mountains and glaciers; likewise, we will be able to observe Andean camelids (alpacas and llamas). We will reach the top of the mountain of Winicunca (recognized as “Rainbow Mountain”) at 5,200 meters above sea level. This mountain is attractive because of its variety of colors; in addition to enjoying the array of colors, we will be able to appreciate the sacred snowy mountain Ausangate which is the highest mountain in the Vilcanota mountain range found in the province of Cusco (an altitude of 6,370 meters). After enjoying this magical place, we will start our descent until arriving to our original starting place where our transport will be awaiting us to take us back to the city of Cusco; during our return, we will stop to have lunch.

18:00 PM – Approximate arrival to the city of Cusco.

Included: Shared touristic transport, tour guide, breakfast and lunch + entrance fee.
